Working in partnership with the HSE and the City of Limerick VEC, this programme supports Traveller women to develop knowledge and skills in the area of community-based health. Taster courses ran throughout summer 2011.  15 participants have since progressed to a  two year training course which commenced in September 2011. On completion of the training course, participants will work as Traveller Health Advocates in their local communities.  PAUL supports the programme through its involvement in the steering committee and the employment of the project Coordinator.
