Community Employment (CE) Scheme

PAUL Partnership operates a Community Employment (CE) Scheme, referred to as the Community Outreach Team.

The Community Outreach Team provides a wide range of services and supports within the Partnership, including reception and front office support, secretarial support, project accounts and administration support, research and evaluation data collection and administration, office caretaking and maintenance, and compilation of the weekly Jobs Bulletin.

Participants work on the Scheme for a total of 19.5 hours a week.  The duration of the placement depends on individual eligibility criteria.

During their time on the Community Outreach Team, participants engage in different education and training programmes.  Training and courses undertaken by recent CE participants include Reception Skills, Accounting Technician, Diploma in HR Management, Event Management, Medical, Dental and Legal Administration, Supervisory Management, ECDL, Forklift Driving, Train the Trainer, and HAACP Food Safety.

Vacancies on our Community Outreach Team are advertised on the Jobs page of our website and in the weekly Jobs Bulletin.  Interested applicants are referred to the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection to determine eligibility and to apply for any current vacancies on the scheme.
