In 2005 Clondalkin Partnership supported Mary Immaculate College with a grant to pilot some elements of the Incredible Years Programme in two schools in Limerick City, St. Mary’s Boys National School (parent programme) and Corpus Christi Moyross (child programme). This rollout was in conjunction with MIC’s Working Together Project.
In 2006, Archways approached PAUL Partnership and requested that PAUL take a coordination role in the active engagement of the community partners in the roll out of the Incredible Years Programme in Limerick. In early 2007 PAUL Partnership commenced facilitating a Multi – Agency Steering group. This group was initially comprised of representatives from:
- PAUL Partnership
- HSE
- Mary Immaculate College
- NEPS
- Social Services Centre
- Archways
- Barnardos
- Corpus Christi Moyross
- St. Mary’s BNS
- St. Munchin’s FRC
In that same year, St. Munchin’s Family Resource Centre, Barnardos Islandgate, St. Marys Boys National School and Corpus Christi Moyross were supported to train and deliver two Parent Programmes, two Child Programmes and one Teacher Programme.
In 2008 PAUL Partnership sourced funding from the HSE and Pobal (under the Local Development Social Inclusion Programme). Following a submission by Incredible Years Limerick to the Limerick Regeneration Agency Incredible Years was included in their plans as a flagship project funding was allocated for the further development of Incredible Years in Limerick City.
