M.A. and Graduate Diploma in Partnership Studies

Do you work in a PARTNERSHIP setting?

Are you involved in MULTI-AGENCY COLLABORATION?

Do you represent your organisation on a PARTNERSHIP BOARD?

If so, these programmes may be for you.

The University of Limerick in collaboration with the PAUL Partnership has designed two complementary programmes to respond to the growth of partnership and multi-agency collaboration and to enhance the skills and knowledge of people working in partnership arrangements.

M. A.  in Partnership Studies

Graduate Diploma in Partnership Studies

These programmes are aimed at practitioners currently working in partnership settings and address the demand for accredited life-long learning which enhances people’s work and personal skills as well as fostering academic achievement.  The emphasis on skills and action-learning offers an attractive means of linking practical experience with opportunities for academic enhancement and applied research.

Course structure

All students complete the Postgraduate Diploma by completing six taught modules which combine a range of theoretical and practical approaches.

MA in Partnership Studies students go on to participate in the International Summer school and carry out in-depth research on a working partnership. The research is presented in the form of a 15,000 word report.

Attendance

For the Postgraduate Diploma, participants will normally be on campus one-day a week (for two modules) and usually for 3x 2-day blocs (for the third module) each semester

For the Masters' programmed a series of workshops takes place during the academic year.
